ZHANG Xiang-Min

     Male, born on Nov. 16, 1962. He received B.Sc. and graduated from Henan Normal University in 1983. He received M.S. degree from Dalian University of Technology in 1986. Then, he joined the Dalian Institue of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he received his Ph.D in 1994. He joined Fudan University as postdoctorate. He got the position of associate professor of chemistry in 1996 and full professor of chemistry in 1999. As Guest Professor and Guest Scientist, he visited T¨¹bingen University and the National Research Center for Environment and Health in Germany, respectively, from 1996 to 1997. He has undertaken 10 more research projects from the National Science Foundations of China, key-projects from Administration of S&T and Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as cooperative studies between China and US EPA etc., respectively. His research works are mainly in the realm of proteomeics, signal chemicals in life sciences, traditional Chinese medicines, environmental analysis, and separation system on micro-chip.

Chromatography, electrophoresis and hyphenated technique (theory, method development, instrumentation, capillary columns, potable GC, on-chip separation systems, 2-demensional separations) for life science, traditional Chinese medicine, environmental analysis.
