CAI Rui-Fang

        Male, born on Mar. 28, 1941. Graduated from Department of Physical Chemistry of Moscow D.I. Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology, Russia, in 1965. 1966-1977 Teaching Assistant of Chemistry Department of Fudan University. 1978-1987 Lecturer, 1988-1996 Associate Professor. Professor authorized in May 1997 and from 1998 Ph.D. Supervisor.1979-1981 Guest Research Fellow, Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of Technical University of Munich, Germany. From 1984 participated in research work on Organometallic Chemistry of rare earths, supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Science Foundation of Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology. Since 1992, started research work on Fullerene Chemistry. In 1994 and 1999 won the third class prize of the advance in Science and Technology of Shanghai.
