    The chemistry department consists of 4 disciplines, 2 institutes (Institute of Applied Chemistry and Institute of Laser Chemistry), 2 experimental centers(Educational Experiment Center of Fundamental Chemistry and Educational Experiment Center of Comprehensive Chemistry). The disciplines are Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. In order to make more progress in subject construction to follow the quick development of science and technology, we are doing our best to develop chemistry's borderline subjects with material, life and environment, except for maintaining the key fundamental subject of our physical chemistry over the country. We'll construct a “ new chemical material center” and a “research center of protein group” in near future.
